Our BIG Red Flexitank represents the latest technological advances and innovations in the industry and offers a safe and economical way to ship your bulk ingredients, raw materials, beverages, lubricants, and thousands of other non-hazardous chemicals. Flexitanks offer single-use convenience; no required leases, cleaning or repositioning costs and with their low tare weight, flexitanks deliver increased payloads over IBC’s, totes, and drums. EPT’s BIG Red Flexitank is constructed of 2-ply proprietary PE films that are food-grade and Kosher and protected by a rugged polypropylene outer woven layer. We offer the only flexitank with Strength Bands incorporated into our woven sleeve that act as a “corset” to help control liquid dynamics. Our total flexitank system includes our Barrier Wear Sleeve to protect the flexitank against poor container conditions and provide a barrier to chemical and odor migration. EPT has also engineered a unique Swept-bar Bulkhead system with shock absorption technology to protect the container, minimize sidewall deflection and protect the cargo. Our BIG Red Flexitank system has passed both the American Association of Railroads (AAR) Impact Test and Simulation Test. We have the only flexitank with authorization from several North American Class I Railroads as well as approval from the Russian Railroad and the China Railroad. EPT’s flexitank offers a safe and economical solution whether shipping by ocean, road, or rail.
